East Godavari district first in the country to use SWaaS frame work launched by Hon’ble Minister for Electronics & IT, Law and Justice Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad Ji. Union Minister appreciated Shri Kartikeya Misra, I.A.S., Collector & DM through Video Conference.

SWaaS – Secure Scalable Sugamya Website as a Service framework was launched by Hon’ble Minister for Electronics & IT, Law and Justice Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad Ji during the DIO meet at New Delhi on 8-2-2018.

East Godavari website (http://eastgodavari.ap.gov.in) was designed using SWaaS. The website was displayed during the meeting and Hon’ble Minister interacted with Shri Kartikeya Misra, I.A.S., Collector & DM through Video Conference.

East Godavari is the first district in the country to use SWaaS and deploy district website.

It has rich content about the district, history, tourism, photo gallery, video gallery, contacts, meta data about public utilities, recruitment etc,

The site has been converted into Telugu language also. It follows GIGW (guidellines for Indian Government websites) and security audited by STQC. It is hosted on cloud and DR has been taken care by National data centre.
