  1. Hospital Coverage and Population

We have a total of 8 functional hospital units catering to 9 mandals with a combined population of approximately 6,49,322. On average, these hospitals together handle around 42,000 OP cases and 2,800 IP cases per month.

  1. Various Health Programmes:
  • OP services are available 9.00 A.M to 4.00 P.M and IP services are available 24X7 in 365 days at all facilities in DSH Hospitals, East Godavari District.
  • The Main focus is to decrease IMR & MMR.
  • In all DSH Hospitals STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction) management facility is available.
  • The Specialist doctors services namely OBG, General Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics services are available in all CHC’s and Orthopedic, Opthomology services are added in 50 beds, 100 Bedded  Hospitals and Radiology, Dermatology and Psychiatry services are in addition to 100 beds Hospital.
  • Specialist Services those can be covered under NTR Vaidhya Seva, we are perform those cases  utilising NTR Vaidya Seva Budget.
  • Family planning operations, ICTC and PPTCT services are available.
  • Sadarem camps are conducted on regular basis in AH, Anaparthy for Locomotor category and CHC, Kovvuru for Visual Category.
  • Lab facilities, X-Ray (Tele-Radiology) and USG Services are available.
  • The Pregnant women who are admitted given free diet, free drugs and consumables utilising JSSK if necessary.
  • NBSUs (New Born Stabilization Units) are established in all the Hospitals except CHC, Gopalapuram.
  • Blood Storage Units are available in all Hospitals.
  • Security, sanitation and Pest Services are provided by respective agencies in all Hospitals.
  • Postmortem services are available.
  • 108 Ambulance is available for Referral Cases.
  • E-Oushadhi is being implemented in all the hospitals.
  • Sanctioned 100 Bedded Building in AH,Anaparthy and work is in progress.

Quality :

  • Under Quality care, Kaya Kalpa, NQUAS (National Quality Assurance Standards), Laqshya and Musqan Programs are to be implemented and CHC, Gokavaram applied for NQUAS assessment and will be held in April-27th &28th -2026. Other units are preparing for NQUAS. All units has to be certified by December-2026.

Community Health Centers Mapping:

  • All the Community Health Center’s are mapped with near by Primary Health Centers to give best Maternity care for the Pregnant Women all high risk cases are being
  • advised to get admitted 10days before the delivery to give best possible services.
